BLADENBORO – West Bladen rolled to a 2-0 victory over Union Monday in non-conference jayvee volleyball action by set scores of 25-15 and 25-6.
Sophomore Marlie Walters poured in 14 service points, an ace and 3 kills for the winners. Freshman Kali Allen drilled in 9 aces and 4 other service points. Sophomore Marlene Crabtree hammered in 5 kills and 3 aces.
Kiera Lewis blasted in 5 kills and a block, and freshman Natalee Sykes racked up 2 service points, a kill, an ace and 2 assists. Freshman Brenna Hester fired in 2 aces and a service point, and freshman Jaylen Clark slammed in 2 kills. Emme Bryant added a dig.
Coach Kaitlyn Sykes’ Lady Knights evened their record at 1-1 and will host West Columbus Tuesday at 4:30.
