Becky Spearman, Bladen County Extension Director, and Livestock Extension Agent announced this week the third annual Egg-cellent Egg Contest would be held this fall. She also gave some basic information about the event.
Most of the contest is virtual. Youth may submit up to two (2) dozen eggs on November 3, 2022, to be judged in the competition. Participating youth will also do fun supplemental sections about eggs and chickens. Each participant must be in 4-H. Help is available for registration.
The cost for the contest is $15, and all youth who complete the project will get a t-shirt. The top three (3) in each age and egg division will receive ribbons and prize money.
